Lincoln Memorial University sponsored a two-day event in September focusing on One Health in Appalachia. The event was organized by the Center for Animal and Human Health in Appalachia along with faculty and students from campus. The event featured about 900 participants from six colleges on campus, South College School of Pharmacy, invited guests, and speakers. The student-centric event featured lectures, an interprofessional activity where students solved a case involving a patient and her dog as well as small group vignettes where students worked on One Health issues together.
