The MediLabSecure (http://www.medilabsecure.com/) project aims at strengthening One Health implementation for the prevention and control of arbovirus infections in the Mediterranean and Sahel Regions through the coordination and collaboration between human and veterinary public health officers.
After the One Health Scientific Conference, held in Rome on 26 – 27, November, 2018, this workshop is organised by the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise (IZSAM), with the objectives
- To discuss and analyse the main components needed and the main gaps at national and regional levels, for the proper implementation of integrated surveillance systems for arboviruses in the countries belonging to the MediLabSecure Network;
- to identify the main training needs for building the required capacities at national level for the implementation of integrated surveillance systems for arboviruses in the countries belonging to the MediLabSecure Network.
