The Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto (ISPUP), through its Department of Veterinary Public Health, organizes, on November 2, 2018, a meeting, under the theme "One Health".
The meeting will address three main topics related to the theme. The first theme will focus on the "One Health" Initiatives developed by ISPUP and those energized at European level.
The second will focus on the sharing of regional information and initiatives related to zoonoses, both promoted by the Regional Health Northern Administration and by Directorate of Food and Veterinary Services of the Northern Region (DSAVRN).
Finally, topics such as resistance to antimicrobials, communication between public health actors and citizens, sociodemographic determinants and zoonoses, among other topics, will also be addressed.

The initiative, which will take place in the ISPUP Auditorium, is part of the "International One Health Day", which is officially celebrated worldwide on November 3rd.

Participation in the meeting is free, but registration is mandatory.
