The first ever One Health Workshop in Saudi Arabia had a rich mix of 73 participants representing various One Health stakeholders in the country including the academia. Issues discussed cut across the human, animal and environmental health domains of the One Health approach. These included establishing a legal framework to enable sustained One Health collaboration between One Health stakeholders; Prioritization of zoonotic diseases; coordination and collaboration of disease and entomological surveillance; One Health Workforce capacity development; and joint outbreak response mechanisms.
