The event is focused around the one health concept of hygiene, family planning and infection control and how it impacts on the environment including the role of animals (bats in this case) in the spread of Rabies in Eldoret, Kenya. Through these activities, sensitization of the Moi University students about the one health concept will also be part of the One Health Day Agenda of the MUOHSIC. The Sanitary conditions at Kidiwa, Eldoret will also be addressed by visiting the area, teaching them about the significance of hygiene, advising them on methods of family planning and a clean-up of the environment with the locals will mark the hallmark of the event.
