The Climate action is part of series of activities for Change Climate Change Project . This is an initiative of Students for One Health Innovation Club at Mbarara University (SOHIC-MUST) aimed at creating local and global awareness about the current trends and threats of climate change particularly in Uganda while fostering innovative cross-sectoral approaches to mitigate the current problem as well as build resilience for communities to adapt to the changes. The event activities are led by 8 multidisciplinary student from department of medicine, gender and women health, Agriculture and Business. A series of activities include training of Student volunteers (Training of trainers) for capacity building on team leadership and innovations for end users, Visiting of schools, community mobilisation, tree planting sessions and a national conference on Climate change and Disaster risk reduction.
