One Health and Zoootic Diseases for High School Teachers
Kansas State University will host a professional development event Sept. 27 to bring together more than eighty high school science teachers and Drs. Nancy and Jerry Jaax, veterinarians and leaders whose response to an Ebola-related outbreak inspired the recently released National Geographic series, THE HOT ZONE. Film clips will be shared and a panel discussion will spur ideas for teachers to develop 3-D lessons for students in their classrooms.
