WesternU is joining the world-wide effort by promoting this concept through collaboration, communication, and outreach. One Health PANEL discussion is sponsored by the WesternU Office of the Vice-President for Research and Biotechnology. We will have live streaming with Lebanon Campus (Oregon), and a few of our colleagues will present from there as well. Topics will include: Climate change issues, biomedical/translational research, patient care, nutrition in medicine, reverence for life, pet therapy, emerging infections, and interprofessional education.
NEW THIS YEAR:
1. WesternU Bookstore and The Pumerantz library are on board with special exhibit and promotions.
2. Our students are joining the initiative with on-campus activities: Infectious Disease Outbreak scenario; WU One Health Symposium; and Student poster session “Researching Relationships in One Health”
