A warm welcome to the “1st One Health International Conference, Taipei, Taiwan” in the beautiful and mountainous campus of National Yang-Ming University.

The “1st OHIC TAIPEI 2019” is organized by Office of International Affairs (OIA) and One Health Research Center (OHIC) of National Yang-Ming University (NYMU) and to be held at the Shou-Ren Building on 24th to 26th September 2019. The organizing committees are most delighted to welcome you all to join this first “One Health” event in Taiwan.

This meeting is advised and supported by Ministry of Health and Welfare, School of Pharmaceutical Science, School of Medicine, Taipei Veterans General Hospital International Medical Service Center and Medigen Vaccine Biologics Crop. The One Health Research Center, National Yang-Ming University is the first institute dedicated to promoting of the One Health concept and facilitating establishment of One Health University Networks in Taiwan. Our goal is to promote One Health related education and share experiences of One Health University Networks (OHUN).

This conference will include presenting sessions on (1) One Health University Networks Experience Communication, (2) Zoonoses, Disease Control and Prevention, and (3) Public Health and Health Care Policy Management. The application and technology of vaccine related topic will also be discussed in the end of this conference as the session (4) Vaccine development. By gathering experts from different fields of One Health, the symposium serves as a platform for participants to share scientific breakthroughs, exchange ideas, invest in friendships, and offer advice for long-term cooperation.
