International Symposium for One Health Research, Guangzhou, China
The ISOHR is an international meeting that aims to promote human, animal and environmental health through the interdisciplinary ‘One Health’ approach to collaborative research locally and globally. It also seeks to foster the development of student and early career researchers interested in One Health through international research collaborations and information-sharing. This symposium aims to facilitate a shared understanding of trans-disciplinary synergies and multi-sectoral collaboration within and between countries to tackle the growing threats of both emerging zoonotic diseases and related issues across six broad themes: 1. Emerging infectious diseases and One Health 2. Antimicrobial resistance 3. Food safety 4. Environmental health 5. Biosecurity/health security 6. Governance and policy (including the International Health Regulations).
