Join the One Health Day event 4th of November to hear about Helsinki One Health research: how human, animal and environmental health are linked.

HOH Helsinki One Health will host an open event to promote the One Health Day on 4th of November, 2019, starting at 3PM at the Stage of Think Corner (Tiedekulma, Helsinki). This year, the event is held in English to reach our researchers and community worldwide and it will be broadcasted as a live online stream.

How does studying genome of bacteria or epilepsy in dogs improve One Health? How is the health of humans, animals and environment linked together? HOH – Helsinki One Health research network combines the research of human, animal and environmental health. 4 November at 3PM in Tiedekulma (Think Corner), the director of the HOH, Prof. Olli Peltoniemi tells about the Helsinki One Health network, and the recently appointed HOH tenure track professors present their viewpoints on One Health: Food Safety, Animal Welfare and Translational Medicine.
