3rd Annual WesternU One Health Day Panel

Western University of Health Sciences One Health initiative, led by Dr Tkalcic, and supported by College of Veterinary Medicine and Dr. Devendra Agrawal, senior vice-president for Research and Biotechnology, is organizing the 3rd Annual WesternU One Health Day Panel. The topic this year: "In the world of Pandemic" will be presented by a panel of expert speakers this year through a 1-hr Zoom meeting on November 2, Monday 4-5PM. Here is the agenda:

2. Dr. Ellen Collisson: “Coronaviruses-“Born" to be Zoonotic
3. Dr. John Tegzes: "How the Coronavirus influenced the career of a Toxicologist”
4. Dr. David Baron: “Treating a Pandemic: Sociopolitical Pressure vs. Evidenced-based Science”
5. Dr. David Sanchez: "We Are Approaching Vaccine Approval at Warp Speed... What's Next?"
The World One Health Day -related events will continue with student-lead One Health Symposium on Nov 7th.
