In the spirit of promoting transdisciplinary interactions, a One Health Day symposium will be held at the Faculty of Veterinary Science this year and co-hosted with the Faculties of Health Sciences and Natural and Agricultural Sciences. This event will bring together specialists from human, animal and environmental health to discuss the importance of the OH approach in advancing research and training at the University of Pretoria. The day will cover three overarching themes namely zoonosis, anti-microbial resistance and the environment as well as training opportunities, research and outreach at UP. It will also consist of various undergraduate and post-graduate students' presentations on research and activities been done across the university and reporting on student initiatives for One Health Day.
