This is new teaching/training that have been created in our academic environment for graduate and pos-graduate students and researcher. This is the first course of its kind that formalizes shared thinking about the risk of disease spread and in particular the pandemic risk due to COVID-19, the risk of border transgression by pathogens dates back to antiquity and this biological risk is often neglected or little taken into account at borders.This biohazard is directed at both humans and animals, and at crops and multiple consumer products for human and animal consumption. It was already clear at the time of the ancient plagues and today it is even more acute with the increasing trade, growing populations and a world that is globalizing in all sectors. A global approach appears definitively on the front of global public health policies.
