2021 UTAH ONE HEALTH SYMPOSIUM - "UNEXPECTED CONSEQUENCES"
The special focus this year for the 2021 Utah One Health Symposium will be on the
unexpected consequences of the connections between human, animal, and environmental health, while exploring the impact of emerging disease on communities and individuals.
Our featured speakers are: Dr Angela Dunn of the Salt Lake County Health Department on pandemic health security, and Jon Towner of the CDC on high-consequence bat pathogens. Other topics include the ecology of native bees in Utah, disaster planning with animals, animal control and shelter issues during the pandemic, occupational health and respiratory diseases for people working with animals, Rabies in Utah.
