Hosted by ECOHA One Health Brasil, in this webinar, Dr. José Luiz Catão-Dias will present “Diseases, Conservation and One Health: What can we learn from Guiana dolphins?”. Prof. Catão-Dias is a Professor of Wildlife Comparative Pathology at School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences/University of São Paulo. In charge of the panel, we will have Dr. Cristiane Kolesnikovas, president of the R3 Animal Association, a center of rescue, rehabilitation, and reintroduction of wildlife in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The event contemplates the history of students', Professor's and collaboration efforts on the understanding of marine animal health in Brazil and how this journey is rooted in One Health Approach. ECOHA Network, linked to One Health Brasil, brings every month One Health themes related to the diverse aquatic ecosystems in Brazil.
