Balkan One Health Network and the Institute for Health and Food Safety Zenica will host the first regional conference "One Health" on June 15.
The topic of the first conference will be "One Health Approach Perspectives in the Western Balkans".
Aim of the Conference: To promote the One Health approach in the Western Balkans region and to acquaint all stakeholders with the basics and possibilities of the One Health approach. One of the goals of the Conference is to promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Conference intends to present the One Health approach as the best option in preventing and combating future pandemics, then as a way that can reduce the cost of treatment of humans and animals, contribute to more efficient and quality environmental protection, and better cooperation at all levels of science, society and government.
We are pleased to point out that eminent experts from the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will discuss and give lectures on this topic.
