ACTAsia and Vets for Compassion (VFC) have been supported by World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) to deliver veterinary webinar series to improve animal welfare through animal welfare since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. This webinar series have been accessible to a network of veterinarians from all over China. The series have been the delivery form of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program of the Companion Animal Welfare Program of ACTAsia. This webinar in November will be One Health veterinary webinar, the prevention and treatment of ticks using one health approach. Speakers invited to deliver the webinar are professor Lu Jiahai from Sun Yat-Sen University, professor Cao Yongguo from Jilin University, professor Terrence Ryan from Oxford University. Professor Cao, being the key note speaker, will be talking about the prevention and treatment of ticks using a One Health Approach.
