Theme: Decade of implementation of One Health in Sub-Saharan Africa: Achievements, challenges and perspectives toward enhancing preparedness and response to the next health security threats.
The recent experiences with global pandemics have underscored the urgent need for interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and preparedness. This forum aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange, dialogue, and collaboration among professionals working at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health.
Within the overall thematic “Global Health Security Challenges and preparedness” the Yaoundé One Health Forum (YOHF) is launching a call for contributions for the maiden edition of its conference taking place 2-3 November 2023 in Yaoundé. The Organizing Committee of the Yaoundé One Health Forum, dedicated to the principles of One Health, invites policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and experts from diverse fields to submit abstracts for oral presentation, posters or innovation.
The Yaoundé One Health will not just be a talkfest. It will be an avenue to demonstrate once more the added value of multisectoral collaboration and concrete ways of translating research and innovation outcomes into policies.
