L'année 2024 marque une opportunité importante pour sensibiliser et promouvoir l'approche One-Health, qui relie la santé humaine, la santé animale et la santé environnementale. Cette célébration vise à renforcer la compréhension des enjeux de santé interconnectés et d'encourager la collaboration entre les différentes parties prenantes, notamment en sensibilisant le public sur le bénéfice de l’approche One-Health dans la création d’un système de résilience multisectoriel, en promouvant la collaboration entre les trois secteurs primaires One-Health, en mobilisant les communautés locales dans l’éducation One-Health et en partageant les expériences via les études et initiatives One-Health.

C’est dans ce cadre que la plateforme nationale « Une Santé », dénommée Commission de Coordination « Une Santé » en RDC, en partenariat avec la FAO/RDC, AFROHUN, MTAPS, Breakhthrough Action, IFRC, FHI360 sous financement USAID, l’OMS, Le projet REDISSE, organise la célébration de la Journée Mondiale « One Health » 2024 en RDC. En marge de la thématique internationale, Approche « Une santé » dans nos communautés. Cette célébration vise à réunir des experts multisectoriels, des professionnels et futurs (étudiants) professionnels de santé, des chercheurs travaillant au développement et à la mise en œuvre d'approches intégrées pour répondre aux problèmes de santé mondiaux actuels. --------- 2024 marks an important opportunity to raise awareness and promote the One-Health approach, which links human health, animal health and environmental health. This celebration aims to strengthen understanding of interconnected health issues and encourage collaboration between different stakeholders, in particular by raising public awareness of the benefit of the One-Health approach in creating a multi-sectoral resilience system, by promoting collaboration between the three One-Health primary sectors, mobilizing local communities in One-Health education and sharing experiences through One-Health studies and initiatives. It is within this framework that the national “One Health” platform, called the “One Health” Coordination Commission in the DRC, in partnership with the FAO/DRC, AFROHUN, MTAPS, Breakhthrough Action, IFRC, FHI360 under USAID funding, WHO, The REDISSE project, is organizing the celebration of World “One Health” Day 2024 in the DRC. Alongside the international theme, “One Health” approach in our communities. This celebration aims to bring together multi-sector experts, professionals and future (students) health professionals, researchers working on the development and implementation of integrated approaches to address current global health problems.
