Protecting Nature is Protecting Health
New York Medical College's Infectious Disease and Environmental Health Interest Groups are excited to welcome a guest speaker Dr. Neil Vora, an infectious disease physician and leading expert in the One Health field, for a Zoom event on November 4th. We will be celebrating One Health Day, a global initiative that highlights the critical connections between human, animal, and environmental health.
Dr. Vora brings extensive experience working at the intersection of health and environmental systems. His insights will help us explore how protecting ecosystems can prevent disease and improve public health. This discussion will offer a unique perspective on why interdisciplinary collaboration is essential for solving today’s pressing health challenges.
This event, hosted by the Infectious Disease and Environmental Health Interest Groups, is open to all who are passionate about public health, infectious diseases, environmental conservation, and health policy. Join us for this engaging conversation and learn how integrated approaches can drive sustainable solutions for healthier communities.
We hope to see you there!
