Bradford Food Symposium Celebrates One Health Day
This is the Bradford food symposium celebrating One Health Day.
The event will be a conference style event, bringing together regional partners who are leading on improving our local food system and delivering against the food strategy. They are part of the Bradford Sustainable Food Partnership, and will be using the event as an opportunity to learn, develop and progress work on improving our food system.
The event aims to further the work on the 4 main outcomes of the strategy which focuses on improving health and wellbeing, our local environment and eco-system, and crutially how improving our food system will improve human, animal and environmental health and well-being.
The 4 main outcomes of the strategy and of the event are;
1) Increasing local food growing
2) Tackling food insecurity
3) Improving healthy eating
4) Tackling climate change and sustainability
The event will be attended by around 100-150 local stakeholders from the public, voluntary and private sectors, and include workshops, presentations and key note speakers.
